Joan does amazing work, and it is true, photos do not do it justice. She doesnt just break the china and make a gorgeous piece of art -- she has a whole credo and philosophy around the entire experience! A true artist and a real original. These are lovely. They remind me of the trencadis broken tile mosaics in Barcelona.

I like how the mosaic looks like a trompe loeil of a china cabinet or rack displaying plates, very nice. I wonder if Ms Greenberg does them to work with the clients china. Guess theres no reason why she wouldn't.

Joan's work is truly amazing. As well as dishes, she incorporates all kinds of objects such as costume jewelry, semi-precious stone, toys, and other personal memorabilia into her wall pieces. I would love to turn her loose in my apartment.
