RED POPPY TABLE
Lucky for me, my client's 15-year-old son broke the original blue-mirror top of this table. And double lucky for me, I was given carte blanche on the design as long as the color red was somehow incorporated.
Red. Hmmm. Licorice? No. Tootsie Pop? Nah. Beets??? No! Get a grip! Forget about food.
So poppies came to mind.
The larger, center flower is itself centered with a ruby cubic zirconium. The flowers in the four corners have smaller, square diamond cubic zirconia. I also used this opportunity to use two pear-shaped diamonds in the upper corners. The leafy vines on either side are brass.
Size: 14" x 24"
Materials: Stained glass, cubic zirconia, brass leaves and bead chain, blue and silver mirror.
